Why Do I need an Inspection?

An inspection is a comprehensive look at every major system of the biggest investment of your life. Many problems can be overlooked or ignored for years; but with the help of a knowledgable inspector, many can be fixed quickly, often for minimal cost. ..........

My Inspections

My standard inspection service includes more than the competition. Not only does my unique report make conveying problems to your attorney easier, I carry several specialized instruments that I utilize as needed during the inspection. For instance, besides a combustible gas detector, I carry two types of moisture meters to help determine if a visible water stain is currently damp.

Ideally, we can schedule your home inspection so you can join me at the property…however, that is not always possible. An inspector who accommodates your schedule by starting the inspection late in the day, will do the job, but they may NOT be doing you a favor. I will not inspect in the dark or start late in the day (usually past about 3). When starting after 2 I ask that you show up as soon as possible. That way I can point out home deficiencies, positive features and specific home maintenance. As a lifelong “morning person”, I am more efficient when starting at 7:30 than at 3:30 J.

I am more than glad to take time to explain my findings. Your report will be of questionable value if you don’t understand the significance of what I have found. The best way to convey that information is live, during the inspection.

You will receive your home inspection report via email (usually) including annotated pictures within 24 hours (usually that evening).
